On the heels of the Travel Trade show and the launch of my fabulous, new blog (thanks to Titi Crafty!) I have finally made the transition to having my Facebook Travel Page (www.facebook.com/groups/DinaSilvesetriTravel) as my primary point of contact for everyone who wants to find me on Facebook. Last time I tried to make this transition I somehow lost Facebook Friends in the process so my hope is this was a much smoother transition and you are all still there. If you find yourself asking “where did Dina go on FB!?” you can find me on my Travel Page exclusively. This is where I spent most of my FB time anyways so I’m feeling much more organized by simplifying the situation. PHEW!
The Facebook Travel Page is where you can find the most up-to-date travel announcements and specials. You have to JOIN the group to participate and LIKE a post once in a while to stay active. I’m not into “spamming” so I purposely made it so you have to actively join and stay active if you want the information. I can’t stand Spam so I’m not trying to send/post it! Today’s important announcement was regarding my summer hours. As you all know, I work from home with my Little Buddy and his school year is almost complete. This alters my office schedule until when he heads back to the classroom in September as follows:
****My Summer Office Hours are Tuesday – Friday 8 AM – Noon. Office Hours are the designated times for when I handle quotes, make bookings, manage emails, organize and mail documents and respond to phone inquiries. If you email/call after hours, inquiries of such nature will be answered the next business day.****
It is the nature of my business though, and my personality, to always be available to you because travel does not only happen “during business hours.” I am ALWAYS available to you when your traveling in an emergency or have an emergent travel situation/question regarding your booking. You have my contact information for those cases. Such “emergencies” will be answered, as they always have been, ASAP. Furthermore, when I am traveling this summer there will be an alternate point of reference from my office who will be made available to you in the event of an emergent travel situation that can not wait until I return.
In the upcoming weeks, I am excited for some fantastic training opportunities from the Barbados Tourist Board, Occidental Hotels, Bolongo Bay Resort, Bimini Island and Disney. Stay tuned here for updates and remember to JOIN my Facebook Page for travel specials!
